Nexus Nexus 7 and 10 do not support Wireless Display technology Miracast

Nexus Nexus 7 and 10 do not support Wireless Display technology Miracast

Bad news coming from the world of Android 4.2. Someone certainly will remember that the function mainly praised the Nexus 4 and was a chance to share via WiFi the content that appears on-screen compatible monitors, leveraging technology Miracast.

Here, unfortunately, this feature is relegated to only smartphone line-up of Google, and it seems to be excluded Nexus 10. And 'in fact a statement of apology from its Mountain View we learn from the exclusion of the tablet by adding this functionality. The statement, following reports of the functionality explained in the pages of official support of the tablet, but obviously not available on it, say the following words:

We just wanted to confirm that the Nexus Nexus 4 will be the only one to support the technology Mircasta Wireless Display on Android 4.2. There was a reference to the wireless display support page for Nexus 10, and therefore we immediately corrected this error. We apologize for any confusion we may have caused.

Words than ever before due to an error information, but it certainly leaves a little 'bitter taste in the mouth. Many who may not have purchased the Nexus 4 and have opted instead for a Nexus 10, hoping for the same functionality, will meet a tablet excluded from this function very interesting. Remains the doubt that perhaps could be implemented in the future, but for this we have to wait for communications from Google.

We leave you with a video demonstration of the function and that exemplifies why it is so interesting.

Seen what, what do you think? The'd like on your tablet? Or do you find it useful?
