LG will implement the code Linaro!

LG will implement the code Linaro!

Some of you remember that famous video in which the protagonist was a device called PandaBoard which worked with the version of Android 4.0.4 Stock and another called Linaro Android 4.0.4? Well everyone was impressed to see the same hardware to run two versions of Android but apparently the same performance antipodes. The video, which you can find at this address see (and the rest and always so that you can compare similar hardware, in this case identical) the execution of a benchmark to demonstrate the effects of difference in terms of performance and software well Optimized As Linaro has to offer.

Companies like IBM, Samsung, and Texas Instruments had already for some time active members of the group Linaro, and now it seems that this same group of people has been expanded by the entry of LG Electronics. Please remember that this code and an "improvement" of what is the Linux code, so not only Android and the beneficiary, and that the site and can find all the detailed information and download (for developers and not) on what has been done for ARM SoC.

Now that a new company like LG has made its entry into this interesting group of development that are designed to make the optimization of code that takes advantage of ARM processor technology, we could be close to see it actually being used more and more in the official versions. Therefore, while there are changes in performance in terms of hardware as we could do with the Cortex-A15 used in a dual-core processor as the Exynos 5250 from Samsung, on the other hand the software can always be improved as in the case of Linaro.

What do you expect from a possible integration of this code on devices with chip A15? How much more and far a desktop experience in your pocket? Above all, what will improve the efficiency of a mobile device with so much wonder Hardware and Software? We are confident about the evolution of technology and we want to hear your opinion about! Stand up.
