LG unveils the Optimus series of Android smartphones L and the new logo

LG unveils the Optimus series of Android smartphones L and the new logo

Before dell'MWC 2012, LG has already presented to the public three new Android smartphones, which are going to position from the low end to the high end. We are talking about the new LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7, which do not yet have all the features but we can already be in a position to be able to make an early assessment of quality.

Let's start with the LG Optimus L3, the Android smartphone that's going to be located at the lower end of the smartphone market. For now we know it and features a 3.5-inch display with the now obsolete resolution of 240×320 pixels, a 3 megapixel rear camera and Android Gingerbread is on board. It is a "pure" low end.

We continue with the LG Optimus L5, mid-range Android smartphone features from more than decent all'L3. You can learn that the display of this smartphone and 4 inches and has been designed to offer a "better readability", which alludes to a much higher resolution (WVGA, qHD or HD?). In addition, the board will have L5 Optimus Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Finally, we finish with the LG Optimus L7, the high-end Android smartphone that but you do not know so many features, except that the 4.3-inch display and Android Ice Cream Sandwich inside. Beyond that we do not know anything, but it is expected that, at a minimum, be equipped with a dual or quad core.

All three devices are constituted by a shell made of metallic material. Have in common the very small thickness and a single center button on the front low. Not end here, however, because LG has also unveiled its new logo for the Optimus series which you can see right below.

The new logo, as the same LG, and was "designed to accentuate the metal edges and slim shape of the entire line-up of smartphones in 2012." Further details on the characteristics of these three new smartphones, and on such dates and areas of marketing we have them only at the Mobile World Congress.

So, what do you think of what LG is beginning to offer at the beginning of 2012? LG, which has always produced Android smartphone with great hardware but a software limit of decency, will succeed in this 2012 to improve even in this respect, whereas other companies like Samsung and HTC have produced many dozens of Android smartphones against 12 total products by LG until now, L3, L5 and L7 excluded?
